This matter comes before the court on Douglas L. Snowden's motion, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255, to vacate, set aside, or correct his sentence. On March 26, 1987, movant was charged in a one-count indictment with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C., Appendix II, § 1202(a)(1). The court accepted movant's guilty plea on June 22, 1987, and on July 27, 1987...
