Hector Manuel Rodriguez Estrada (Rodriguez), former operating trustee of the bankrupt San Juan Hotel Corporation, appeals from a judgment of the district court surcharging him $3,434,081.82. The district court found that Rodriguez, in various ways, intentionally violated his fiduciary duties as trustee, causing enormous harm to the estate and its creditors.
