The plaintiff, Connie Sargent, commenced this action in March 1987. Ms. Sargent alleges that the defendants unlawfully terminated her employment with "Hit or Miss," a women's apparel store, because of her race and in retaliation for her filing a discrimination charge with the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division.
