The plaintiffs are eight trustees of the Central States, Southeast and Southwest Areas Pension Fund established for the benefit of employees. The Pension Fund is a "multi-employer plan" within the meaning of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) (29 U.S.C. § 1002(37)(A)).
