Following a search of a 1980 Honda Accord that produced twelve baggies containing marijuana, the county of Los Alamos filed a complaint for forfeiture of the vehicle. See NMSA 1978, § 30-31-35(D) (Repl.Pamp. 1987). William J. Ferrell answered the complaint and asserted as a defense violation of constitutional rights.
