Morphy, Makofsky, and Masson, Inc., a New Orleans engineering firm, designed and performed engineering services for the foundation and first floor of Canal Place II, a shopping center and hotel complex in New Orleans. After substantially completing its work, Morphy made demand for payment upon Canal Place 2000, the owner; RTKL Associates, the architects; and CBM Engineers, Inc., the structural engineers.
