The only issues raised in this appeal are causation and quantum. Liability for the accident is not at issue.

Defendant appeals the trial court's award of damages to three plaintiff's, all occupants of a vehicle rear-ended by defendant's vehicle on March 16, 1985. The driver, Wanda Pattison was awarded $18,000.00 in general damages and $2,533.03 in specials; the front seat passenger, Rita Backhaus, was awarded $33,000.00 in general damages and...
