David G. Franklin ("appellant"), tried without a jury, was found guilty by the trial court of "hunting deer without a permit," § 252.040, RSMo 1986, and 3 CSR 10-7.435. The trial court sentenced appellant to pay a fine of $100 plus court costs, and also entered judgment against appellant for $36 in favor of the State of Missouri per § 595.045, RSMo 1986.1 Appellant brings this appeal presenting two assignments...
