Defendant, Joseph Clinard Harris, was charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. Defendant entered the dual plea of not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity.1 After trial by jury, he was found guilty as charged.
