OPINION

SINGLETON, Judge.

Rolando Ciervo was indicted for attempted murder in the first degree, a class A felony. AS 11.31.100(a); AS 11.41.100(a)(1). As part of a plea agreement, Ciervo pled no contest to an information charging him with assault in the first degree. AS 11.41.200(a)(1). Ciervo, however, later withdrew his plea, and the case went to trial. A jury found Ciervo guilty of attempted murder in the first degree. Superior Court Judge Roy H. Madsen...
