The jury awarded plaintiffs in excess of $6,000,000 in a products liability action. Christy Suber suffered permanent brain damage from an overdose of anesthesia during a minor surgical procedure. She and her husband sued the anesthesiologist, the hospital and others for negligence and medical malpractice.
