OPINION

WEISBERGER, Justice.

This case is before us on the defendant's appeal from a judgment of conviction entered in the Superior Court following a jury trial. We affirm. The facts insofar as pertinent to this appeal are as follows.

The defendant, Thomas Messa, was employed as a public school teacher in the city of Providence. Messa was charged with five separate counts of second-degree child-molestation sexual assault in violation of G.L. 1956...
