Defendant, Christopher L. Royal, was charged by bill of information with two counts of attempted forcible rape and one count of aggravated burglary in violation of La.R.S. 14:27, 14:42.1 and 14:60, respectively. Defendant pled not guilty to all charges. Following a jury trial on the aggravated burglary charge, defendant was found guilty as charged of this offense.
