Plaintiff Lois Grimsley has brought this lawsuit charging, among other things, that an article published in Penthouse Magazine defamed her, in violation of Alabama law. She has named as defendants Penthouse International, Ltd., which owns the magazine, and Bob Guccione, the magazine's editor and publisher.
