Larry James Carter was convicted of contempt following a non-jury trial before Superior Court Judge Victor D. Carlson. Judge Carlson sentenced Carter to a term of six months' imprisonment with three months suspended. The contempt charge arose from Carter's failure to comply with the court's child custody order.
