Brice Building Company, Inc. (Brice) and Southern Risk Service, Inc. (SRS) appeal the trial court's judgment awarding Donald de Boisblanc $1,000.00. We reverse.

FACTS

On August 27, 1985, Percy Williams was injured while within the course and scope of his employment with Brice. Shortly thereafter, Williams retained attorney de Boisblanc to handle his claim. de Boisblanc notified Brice on August 30, 1985, that he was representing Williams...
