Ulysses January, Willie Slater, and James Bell filed this action against Stolaruk Corporation on October 13, 1982. They alleged Stolaruk denied them promotional opportunities and paid unequal wages because of their race, black, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 2000e and M.C.L. § 37.2101.
