McWILLIAMS, Circuit Judge.

In connection with a grand jury proceeding in the District of Kansas the government served subpoenas duces tecum on a law firm (hereinafter Law Firm Z) seeking production of documents for use by the grand jury. Law Firm Z filed a motion to quash, and the government filed a motion to compel production. The documents sought under the subpoena related to one of Law Firm Z's clients, referred to by us as Company X.3
