The defendant, Ernest Szelenyi, M.D., appeals from a judgment of the Superior Court, Cumberland County, entered on a special jury verdict finding that Szelenyi, by his gross negligence, had caused the wrongful death of Therese Miller and awarding damages in the amount of $260,000 to George Miller, as personal representative of Therese Miller's estate.
