This lawsuit is brought by Theodore McSwegan ("McSwegan" or "plaintiff") and Jacqueline McSwegan against United States Lines, Inc. ("USL") for an alleged injury sustained by plaintiff while a crewmember aboard USL's ship, the AMERICAN NEW YORK.
