This is an appeal of a damage award in an action resulting from an automobile accident.

FACTS

Gerald and Shereen S. Purvis, Joe and Brenda K. Slade, Thomas and Debbie Brunet and a few other friends attended an outdoor music festival at Tangipahoa Beach and returned to the Brunet's house for a barbeque.
