This case involves the effect of a recent statute, 1983 Tenn. Public Acts, chapter 432,1 upon the interpretation and construction of a will which was written in 1935 and probated in 1939. The question presented is whether grandchildren by adoption constitute "lineal descendents" of an income beneficiary under a trust created by her great-uncle.
