The defendant, William Douglas Brown, was indicted for armed robbery, first degree (premeditated) murder, and felony murder. He was convicted of armed robbery and felony murder and he was sentenced to consecutive life sentences as a Range II, persistent offender guilty of committing an especially aggravated offense.
