Fred Bruner originally brought suit against Exxon Company, U.S.A. as lessee and The Southland Corporation as lessor for the wrongful cancellation of a lease upon which Bruner had a written assignment of rentals. The trial court granted Exxon's and Southland's summary judgment motions that Bruner take nothing.
