The dispositive issue here is whether the defendants' counterclaim constitutes a separable and unrelated cause of action whose disposition may result in a judgment.1 We answer in the negative, dismiss the appeal, and hold that the trial court's denial of summary judgment on the counterclaim did not determine an entire cause of action.
