Mark B. Rainsford was killed in an accident that occurred as he was performing maintenance work on a ferry owned by defendant Washington Island Ferry Line, Inc. His widow and two minor children filed suit, alleging claims for negligence and breach of warranty of seaworthiness. Jurisdiction was alleged under 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and the Jones Act, 46 U.S.C. § 688. Presently pending before the Court are cross-motions...
