The defendant, Walter Harris Nix, was found guilty by the trial court of driving while intoxicated, first offense, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98. From this conviction, the defendant applied to this court for a writ of review. We granted the defendant's writ application in order to review the issues of whether the state presented sufficient evidence to support the conviction and whether the defendant received adequate notice in the bill of information...
