The defendant, Ralph Philbrick, appeals from a judgment of the Superior Court (Androscoggin County; Delahanty II, J.) entered on a jury verdict finding him guilty of gross sexual misconduct, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 253 (1983 & Supp.1987), and kidnapping, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 301 (1983).
