This suit arises from a collision between an automobile and a motorcycle that occurred on May 23, 1983. Plaintiff James Shepard, the driver of the motorcycle, sued Corbett Duhon, the driver of the car, as well as Duhon's employer and various insurers for personal injuries allegedly incurred by plaintiff as a result of the accident.
