Appellee, Fiberex, Inc., sued appellant U.S. Steel Corporation and appellee, Plas-Tex, Inc., alleging that polyester resin manufactured by U.S. Steel and sold by Plas-Tex caused delamination in certain swimming pools built by Fiberex. Plas-Tex asserted a cross-claim against U.S. Steel for contribution and indemnity.
