The plaintiff Barbara Ann Harkness sued the defendants C.W. Porter and W.K. Porter alleging they wrongfully removed limbs from plaintiff's pecan trees. The trial court awarded damages in the amount of $117.36 for the value of the wood taken and $1,250.00 for mental anguish and trespass to the plaintiff.
