REES, J.:

In this criminal case, defendant Earney R. Duckett was found guilty of indecent liberties with a child, a class C felony, (K.S.A. 1987 Supp. 21-3503) and sentenced to a term of 4 to 20 years. The imposed sentence's minimum is one year more than the statutory minimum and its maximum is the statutory maximum (K.S.A. 1987 Supp. 21-4501[c]).
