Respondents Charles Nolan and Nancy Nolan initiated a declaratory judgment action in 1984 against appellants James Stuebner and Diane Stuebner, asking the court to determine whether they have a pedestrian easement across the Stuebners' property and an easement to erect and maintain a dock off the Stuebners' Lake Minnetonka shoreline. The matter was tried before the trial court, which granted a declaratory judgment in favor of respondents...
