William Grady Herring was indicted for the reckless murder of Richard Lee Worley, in violation of § 13A-6-2(a)(2), Code of Alabama 1975. The jury found the appellant "guilty of the lesser included offense of manslaughter." The appellant was sentenced to thirty years' imprisonment in the penitentiary.
