The appellant was convicted by a jury of theft by receiving, and after a finding that he was a habitual offender, he was sentenced to fifteen years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. On appeal he argues that the trial court erred in not granting his motion to suppress evidence he claims was seized pursuant to an invalid arrest and that the trial court should have also suppressed a statement he made after his allegedly invalid arrest.
