Appellant, IFG Leasing Company ("IFG"), brought suit against appellee, Billy J. Ellis, to recover actual and punitive damages under a claim of conversion of a trailer. Ellis answered, pleading a bar of limitations to the suit, and countersued under the Texas Certificate of Title Act and the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) to recover the certificate of title for the trailer, and for attorney's fees.
