This is a civil action, brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 1983, 1985(3), and common law. Plaintiff seeks compensatory and punitive damages for false arrest, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution. The court referred this action to Magistrate Leonard Bernikow on August 29, 1986, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) (1982).
