Respondent, Arthur J. Reid, Jr., engaged in certain misconduct in Maryland involving misappropriation and conversion of client funds. The Court of Appeals of Maryland noted that ordinarily respondent's misconduct would warrant the sanction of disbarment, but that his alcoholism was a factor in mitigation.1 The Maryland court therefore ordered respondent indefinitely suspended from the practice of law, but entered its order...
