OPINION

LATTIMORE, Justice.

Appellant, Rudy Valle, Jr., was convicted of the offense of theft of property valued between $750.00 and $20,000.00. See TEX. PENAL CODE ANN. sec. 31.03 (Vernon Supp.1988). Appellant pleaded guilty without the benefit of a plea bargain, and entered a plea of "true" to both enhancement paragraphs in the indictment. The court found appellant guilty of the offense charged, determined that he had two prior felony convictions...
