The defendant Billiot was charged with two counts of molestation of a juvenile (La.R.S. 14:81.2). After a trial by jury, the defendant was found guilty of one count of attempted molestation of a juvenile, when the offender had control or supervision of the juvenile. Subsequently, the defendant was sentenced to prison for the maximum imposable term of 7½ years. He appealed his conviction and sentence, reserving four assignments of error...
