Appellees, Minerva Martinez, Elsa Nichols, and Marta Mata, brought suit against appellants, K-Mart Corporation and Nathan Christian, for actual and exemplary damages for slander, assault, false imprisonment, and negligent hiring. The trial court, pursuant to jury answers, rendered judgment for the appellees.
