Michael Dwayne Farris appeals from his conviction by a jury for the offense of aggravated possession of amphetamine, a controlled substance, of more than 400 grams, pursuant to TEX.REV.CIV.STAT. ANN. art. 4476-15, secs. 4.02(c)(3) and 4.041(a), (c) (Vernon Supp.1988). The jury assessed punishment at fifty years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections and a $20,000 fine pursuant to TEX. REV.CIV.STAT.ANN. art. 4476-15,...
