WALSH, Justice:

This is an appeal from a conviction in the Superior Court of rape first degree and a subsequent sentence of life imprisonment. The defendant, Charles R. Getz, was charged with the rape of his eleven year old daughter. He advances several claims of error one of which, the admission of evidence of alleged prior sexual contact with the victim, we deem the basis for reversal. We conclude, as a matter of law, that the admission of such evidence was an abuse...
