Donald Nixon is a former sales representative of The Celotex Corporation ("Celotex") who was discharged by the company during a "reduction in force." The reduction was allegedly the result of economic conditions that required the company to consolidate its sales staff. After his discharge, Nixon filed a charge with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights ("MDCR") and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission...
