ENGLAND v. ENGLAND

No. 87-0484.

520 So.2d 699 (1988)

Junetta E. ENGLAND, Appellant, v. Alfred I. ENGLAND, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District.

March 2, 1988.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Victoria L. Semora of Victoria L. Semora, P.A., Hollywood, for appellant.

Janis Felder Carlson of Janis Felder Carlson, P.A., Hollywood, for appellee.

ANSTEAD, Judge.

This is an appeal from the trial court's denial of the request of appellant, Junetta E. England, for an increase in permanent periodic alimony. We reverse.

An award of permanent periodic alimony should be modified only upon a clear showing of a change in the financial circumstances of the parties. Conversely, modification should not be denied when the change is clearly shown. Powell v. Powell, 386 So.2d 1214
