Defendant, Michael Allen Bodfield, was convicted of burglary by a jury in the district court for Dawson County. After a later hearing, the trial court found defendant to be a habitual criminal, as defined in Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-2221 (Reissue 1985), and sentenced him to 11 to 20 years in the penal complex.
