The defendant, Ellery Queen, appeals a ruling of the district court denying his motion to quash his arrest and to suppress evidence discovered pursuant to that arrest. The court had issued a bench warrant for Mr. Queen's arrest when he failed to surrender himself voluntarily for execution of sentence on prior offenses.
