Appellant James Woods was convicted by a jury of three counts of battery in the second degree and sentenced as a habitual offender to serve six years in the Arkansas Department of Correction on each count. The sentences are to run concurrently. One of appellant's arguments on appeal is that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss for violation of the right to a speedy trial. Because we find merit in this argument, we reverse and dismiss...
