Plaintiff, Hazel Livings, filed a petition for damages against defendants Oakbourne Country Club, Inc., d/b/a Oakbourne Country Club and its insurer, Reliance Insurance Company (defendants will hereinafter be referred to as "Oakbourne"). Livings asserted that she should recover damages in tort for injuries she sustained when she slipped and fell on Oakbourne's premises or, alternatively, that she should recover worker's compensation benefits, penalties...
