OPINION

CANTU, Justice.

Appellant was indicted by a Maverick County Grand Jury on August 25, 1986, of multiple offenses arising out of a single transaction. The indictment contained five separate counts.1

The first count alleged aggravated sexual assault by contact of appellant's sexual organ with the sexual organ of a child younger than 14 years of age. TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. §§ 22.011(a)(1)(C) and 22.021(5)....
